The Module D-EMS 2000 CO2 is a software that can be installed on a system workstation of the system D-EMS 2000 for the purpose of CO2 data acquisition, processing and analysis. It can be installed as a standalone program as well as a software extension parallel to the official emission evaluation.
Software in accordance with the requirements of the Monitoring Guidelines (Commission Decision 18/VII/2007), guidelines for the purposes of Directive 2003/87/EC.
The measurements (CO2, flow, pressure, temperature, humidity, etc.) are recorded continuously at a resolution of 1 second and hourly average values are calculated with an adjustable quorum (usually 30 minutes).
For hourly average values that are not properly available because of maintenance, malfunction or other error, substitute values are used.
These substitute values are determined from the average of all valid hourly average values of the current year, considering the standard deviation and automatically entered.
During the year the operator receives information about the current cumulative CO2 emissions and at the end of the year the correct amount of emissions in [t/a].
An 'engineering tool', implemented in the software enables a new calculation resp. recalculation of emission amount. This is required after adjusting for example, calibration data, substitute variables of reference values and changes of the calculation rules, by an authorized user (password necessary).
Corrections are made in an additional database with documentation of the changes made. The original data will remain unchanged in the standard database..
Values documentation is carried out historical in the daily, monthly and annual tables and currently on a screen mask (current CO2 emissions compared to the allocation amount of technological investment).
