DURAG GROUP Hamburg site certifies environmental management system

The step sets a sign of the DURAG GROUP's commitment to target-oriented activities in the field of environmental management

Hamburg, 25^th of February, 2022 - The DURAG GROUP is a value-oriented group of companies and is committed to a sustainable management in all its business activities. In doing so, our overall strategic vision “Technology for a clean and safe environment” drives us in our actions. As a manufacturer and supplier of products in the field of environmental measurement technology, the DURAG GROUP is internationally renowned. Our commitment is equally high in the field of operational environmental protection.

We pursue our goals on the basis of our quality, health, safety and environmental management system (QHSE) according to ISO 9001, 14001 and ISO 45001, which we operate site-related in parts as an integrated management system. 

Environmental thinking and acting is an integral part of the corporate culture of the DURAG GROUP and our daily work. We act proactively and preventively. 

Our goal is to achieve a holistic environmental protection – as an integrated part of all activities as well as through the function of our products, ensuring sustainable environmentally friendly production processes for our customers.

For this reason, the DURAG GROUP has decided to have the Hamburg site certified in accordance with the internationally recognized ISO 14001 standard, which defines processes for controlling and continuously improving the environmental performance of companies. This sets a sign of the DURAG GROUP's commitment to target-oriented activities in the field of environmental management: to reduce the environmental impact of the group and its products and in the sense of sustainable management as well as efficient use of energy, resources and materials.

Our measures also extend to contractors and other business partners. In this way, we fulfill our obligations as set out in our corporate policies for safety, health, environment and quality.
