Hydrogen Technology Expo and Carbon Capture

Icon events and trade fairs

In our hometown of Hamburg, a key hub for hydrogen innovation, DURAG GROUP welcomes you to the Hydrogen Technology World Expo / Carbon Capture Technology World Expo 2026. From 20–22 October 2026, industry leaders and technology providers will come together to shape the future of hydrogen and CCUS.

Hydrogen and carbon capture are reshaping industrial energy systems. To make these applications safe, efficient and scalable, operators need reliable combustion, clear process visibility and precise gas analysis. DURAG GROUP supports this transition with H₂-ready solutions for combustion and safety monitoring as well as trace-level gas analysis for hydrogen, renewable gases and CCUS applications.

Solutions for the hydrogen economy – from ignition to gas quality control

At Hydrogen Technology World Expo / Carbon Capture Technology World Expo 2026, DURAG GROUP highlights an integrated portfolio designed to support decarbonization projects across industry, energy and process applications. Our solutions help customers operate safely with hydrogen and mixed gases, improve combustion efficiency, gain real-time insight into high-temperature processes and monitor gas purity at trace level. DURAG GROUP already positions large parts of its portfolio as H₂-ready for the specific requirements of hydrogen use.

H₂-ready combustion and ignition solutions

For hydrogen-fired and mixed-fuel applications, DURAG GROUP offers advanced combustion technologies built for reliability and long-term flexibility. The portfolio includes Hegwein burners, Hegwein pilot burners and Hegwein igniters, engineered for hydrogen-containing gas mixtures and adapted to demanding industrial combustion environments. Their modular design supports easy installation, separate replacement of electrical and mechanical components, and strong operational reliability. Hegwein gas burner solutions are designed for broad fuel flexibility, including H₂ and mixed gases, and are suitable for furnaces, boilers, reactors and thermal process systems.

Reliable flame monitors for hydrogen and mixed gases

Hydrogen combustion requires dependable flame supervision, especially in complex burner configurations. DURAG GROUP flame monitoring solutions provide fail-safe flame detection and are designed for all fuel types, including hydrogen. Optical flame monitors from DURAG use UV, VIS and IR technologies depending on the application and support safe combustion control even under changing operating conditions. The portfolio includes optical compact flame monitors and flame sensors designed for high safety requirements and use in multi-burner plants.

H₂‑compatible furnace cameras and visual temperature analysis (VTA)

When hydrogen is used in industrial furnaces, real-time process visibility becomes essential. DURAG GROUP furnace camera systems provide continuous live images from the combustion chamber, helping operators detect combustion imbalances and process changes early. Combined with thermography and analysis software, these systems calculate temperature distribution from the live image, enabling more precise adjustments and better control of the combustion process. DURAG’s video and thermography solutions are designed for 24/7 use in difficult areas (ATEX, IECEx) high-temperature environments and can be expanded with application-specific software modules.

Trace-level gas analysis for hydrogen, renewable gases and CCUS

Accurate gas analysis is equally critical in the hydrogen economy. With ProCeas®, DURAG GROUP offers a laser infrared multigas spectrometer for real-time measurement of trace-level contaminants in hydrogen, CO₂ and other gas streams. The system is designed for high selectivity and interference-free measurement, with no need for regular recalibration, no carrier gas and low maintenance requirements. It supports applications such as hydrogen purity monitoring, renewable gas quality control and impurity detection in CO₂ streams for carbon capture, utilization and storage.

Built for compliance and infrastructure protection

For hydrogen and CCUS projects, compliance and asset protection are key. ProCeas® supports measurement requirements aligned with standards such as ISO 14687, ISO 21087, ISO 2612:2023 and additional gas quality specifications. It helps operators identify contaminants in real time, protect pipelines, turbines and process infrastructure, and maintain product and gas stream quality throughout critical applications.

Let’s discuss your hydrogen or CCUS application
