The focus is on intelligent network sensor solutions for efficient tunnel operation

Hamburg / Hallein, 13th of September, 2022 – On the 13th of October at 4 p.m., JES, specialist for tunnel safety in the DURAG GROUP, will host a webinar on its tunnel sensors under the title "Smart/SENSORS for better tunnel safety". The event is a good opportunity to get an overview of the JES product portfolio and typical use cases of JES Smart/SENSOR solutions. The focus is on smart network sensor solutions for efficient tunnel operation.

Core topics of the approximately two-hour webinar are:

  • State-of-the-art methods for air characteristics monitoring
  • Total cost of ownership versus purchase cost
  • Benefits of networked sensors
  • Energy-efficient tunnel lighting control

The registration is free of charge. You can access the registration here.

Speakers include René Jung, Managing Director JES and Fabien Burato, Managing Director DURAG Sales & Service, as well as other experts from the fields of tunnel safety, traffic infrastructure and network technologies.

IT networks in transport infrastructure have developed rapidly in recent years and are available everywhere in tunnels. Smart sensors connected to IT networks provide capabilities such as remote maintenance, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, notification, data logging or validation. In this way, they improve the reliability of tunnel ventilation and the availability of the tunnel for tunnel users. At the same time, they reduce maintenance effort and costs for the tunnel operator.

JES Elektrotechnik GmbH from Austria is one of the leading suppliers of environmental sensor solutions for traffic applications. JES Smart/SENSOR solutions are particularly characterized by low life cycle costs through the use of the latest technological standards.
